What you will do
For this role we are looking for a bid management experience that has the skills to prepare and submit a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. Responsible for managing an opportunity from initial identification of a customer requirement through to contract renewal strategy. Significantly involve pre-RFP, driving the capture phase and ensuring all resources are aligned to the client’s requirements. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes.
How you will do it
Manage the end-to-end bid process and working closely with sales teams to ensure that bid provided with winning offers and compelling proposals Inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines. Ensure on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids. Co-ordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission. Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers. Ensure all documents and process of bid are on proper places with the full qualification stages and sign on for all opportunities ensuring that bids have a clear strategy and ensure that input is positive and becomes part of the win strategy. To set the benchmark for bid turnaround ranked by value and complexity Contribute to the strategic agenda to determine the margin on Job. Identifying and implementing industry and busines best practice where it will contribute to business performance
What we look for
Required
10+ years experience in similar/associated role. APMP Foundation (Practitioner or Professional level desirable). Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues. Experience of working with or in a similar environment using formal bid methodology practices Shall have excellent communication skills both written and spoken English. Will be fully conversant with the competitive marketplace. Sound commercial understanding and profit and loss experience coupled with risk management skills
