An exciting opportunity for an individual with commercial acumen and business orientation to join our global team in a role that supports the sales and pricing teams across Europe, Middle East & Africa and Eurasia. This role aims to provide tactical merchandising support by collaborating closely with Sales Execution teams covering the EAME region.

The regional Merchandising team is responsible for managing and forecasting the Machine Sales Variance entrusted with Sales Execution teams to achieve business objectives in EAME territories via effective marketing tactics deployed through merchandising programs.

As a Pricing Consultant, you will be responsible for the analysis and processing of the different steps of the merchandising programs, for the forecasting of the Sales Variance and for providing relevant pricing analysis.
 

What You Will Do:

• Analyzing and processing Merchandising program requests from targeted regions by working closely with the Sales Execution teams.
• Executing Merchandising programs, by providing guidance to the Sales Execution teams, checking levels of approval, and processing the programs in Caterpillar systems.
• Forecasting Sales Variance for specific segments of business by working close to the Strategic Merchandising team for the monthly forecasting activities.
• Providing regular pricing analysis to support Sales Execution teams with the deployment of effective tactics and Merchandising programs.
• Delivering ad-hoc projects within the scope of Merchandising area to create/improve processes allowing for more or better control of Merchandising program forecasting.

What You Have:

• Advanced Excel and Power BI
• Knowledge to advise on advanced data gathering and analysis methodologies and technologies
• Expertise to assist in assessing risks, benefits and consideration of alternatives
• Making oral presentations and writing reports in English
• Strong analytical ability, be self-driven and result-oriented
• Working Knowledge of Decision Making and Critical Thinking
• Extensive Experience in Relationship Management

Top Candidates Also Have:

• Degree in business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or related fields
• Prior experience in pricing, finance, or related functions

Additional information:

Hybrid work policy: 3 days per week from the office.

The position is based in Geneva. Relocation is not supported.

A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
