Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support daily purchasing operations and supplier coordination. This role offers hands-on exposure to procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations within a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing purchase requisitions and creating purchase orders (POs) in the system
- Support supplier communication for quotation requests, delivery follow-ups, and documentation
- Help maintain and update supplier database and procurement records
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of goods/services
- Assist in price comparison, cost analysis, and sourcing activities
- Support contract documentation and filing (NDA, agreements, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Engineering, Operations) for procurement needs
- Prepare procurement reports and data analysis (e.g., spend tracking, supplier performance)
- Support ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Procurement team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in procurement / supply chain / operations
- Good communication skills in English (and local language if required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data organization); PowerPoint is a plus
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Internship or project experience in procurement, sourcing, or operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Basic understanding of supply chain or purchasing processes
