Perform regional housekeeping duties, maintain equipment and inventory supplies pertaining to floor care. Assist custodial team as needed and insure the cleanliness of the facility is kept at a high standard.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in all the functions to maintain the floors, tile and carpet, of college facility, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing and shampooing.
  • Monitor and report items that need to be done by maintenance staff such as, replace light bulbs, and repair broken fixtures in classrooms and offices.
  • Securing of all facilities at completion of operations.
  • Clean, sanitize, and repair tables, chairs and booths throughout the facility.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to (50) pounds and physical ability to use large equipment associated with custodial work.
  • Control/Management of related cleaning equipment.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and communicate well with peers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have appropriate skills in custodial services.
  • Proven experience, punctuality, dependability and trustworthiness.
  • Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
