Key Responsibilities
1. Opportunity Identification & Solution Selling
Identify, track, and convert project leads into full-solution sales opportunities.
Promote system-based solution selling by integrating multiple product categories based on project specifications.
Engage early with consultants, architects, investors, and contractors to influence technical specifications and tender requirements.
Support distribution partners in converting project leads into sales wins.
2. Tender Participation & Negotiation
Participate in tender processes, prepare bid submissions, and negotiate pricing and terms.
Secure tender wins by driving early product specification and aligning solutions with customer requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure logistical readiness and timely project fulfilment.
3. Customer Relationship & Account Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, including senior-level decision-makers and influencers.
Manage a portfolio of major or strategic customers within defined territories or industry segments.
Ensure customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and continuous engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Technical & Commercial Expertise
Demonstrate strong understanding of industrial infrastructure products, system applications, and solution design.
Provide technical support and solution presentations to customers and partners.
Serve as an internal and external expert on specific products, solutions, or market segments.
5. Territory Planning & Resource Management
Develop area-level business plans, including quarterly forecasts, territory strategies, and account plans.
Manage resources effectively to maximize sales productivity and market penetration.
Lead small teams or guide junior colleagues in complex sales processes, where applicable.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, application engineering, supply chain, and finance to deliver seamless customer experience.
Ensure clear communication of market insights, project updates, and competitive developments to management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Industrial Management; MBA preferred.
6–10+ years of experience in Industrial Infrastructure / Project Sales, with strong exposure to consultant, contractor, and project ecosystem management.
Proven track record in solution selling, specification influence, and tender management.
Experience working with distribution channels is an advantage.
