Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Business & Commercial Excellence Lead  located in Amersfoort, Netherlands.

The Business & Commercial Excellence Lead is responsible for driving commercial effectiveness, enabling data-driven decision making, and enhancing execution across DPS Israel. The role ensures strong alignment between strategy, performance management, and field execution to drive revenue growth and improve sales efficiency while leveraging data analytics.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support commercial excellence agenda, including KPI frameworks and performance management, and translate it into actionable/ operational plans for strategic optimization. 

  • Support driving sales force effectiveness (targeting, segmentation, incentive schemes) while utilizing market intelligence and internal data to identify growth opportunities 

  • Focal point in Business Plan and ensure accuracy, efficiency and transparency 

  • Develop and implement pricing, dashboards, analytics, BI and reporting tools 

  • Identify performance gaps and highlight/recommend management team corrective actions including adoption of tools (such as CRM) to improve efficiency 

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align strategy, priorities and execution 

  • Support deployment of global and regional commercial initiatives locally 

Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field 

  • MBA – advantage 

Experience 

  • 4-6+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Data Analyst, Sales Operations or Consulting 

  • Experience in matrix, global organizations

  • Healthcare or MedTech experience

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, BI and CRM tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Monday) 

  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights 

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills 

  • Strategic mindset with execution capability

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€64,000.00 - €103,040.00

 

 

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
