The Financial Services segment is responsible for serving public sector and commercial clients in this industry across the firm’s three lines of service: advisory, digital and advisory.  It operates at the intersection of the regulator and the regulated.  Public Sector Financial Services (PSFS) serves federal cabinet agencies in the financial services segment, financial services regulators, quasi-government and supra-national financial services entities (e.g. World Bank Group and the Federal Reservce).

  • Play an active role in Financial Services extended leadership team, in addition to role with the Public Sector Financial Services leadership team.
  • Develop and implement a bold, ambitious and achievable strategic account plan for the Federal Reserve Account, a Peak Account at Guidehouse, with a future target of $50M/Yr in revenue.  This plan will identify priority relationships, opportunities, solutions and strategies to position Guidehouse to win work and successfully deliver the value our clients expect. The planned approach and execution should embody the best of and broadest capabilities of Guidehouse.
  • Create, foster, defend and maintain an environment that team members consider Guidehouse a “Great Place to Work”.  Mentor, develop and empower team members to increase their capabilities, knowledge, and skills to progress across the Guidehouse Career Development Framework.  Recruit and hire exceptional talent, industry experts, and professionals with the potential to make significant impact for our clients and the firm.  Promptly exit staff with interests, skills and abilities are are not aligned to Guidehouse expectations.   
  • You will be the Account Leader for the Federal Reserve. This role involves extensive market and client interactions and requires significant responsibility in developing new business and managing the client relationship.
  • As noted above, you will shape and execute an account penetration plan to broaden the firm’s brand and reputation, portfolio of advisory, digital and managed services contracts, while delivering client value, profitable growth and maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • You will have ownership of the account's: top line growth, bottom line results, account teams’ growth and excellence, client and firm innovation as well as rigor, client operational aspects that ensure profitability for Guidehouse and ensure high quality, valued and leverageable, deliverables at the client.
  • Provide P&L responsibility and accountability for Account by closely managing the delivery of products and services with strict financial controls.
  • Build and foster relationships with external partners, internal partners and customers to deliver new and more creative approaches for the IRS, leveraging technology as applicable.
  • Develop, maintain and deepen a strong, collaborative partnership with the client, understand their priorities, our competitors, key stakeholders and influencers, historic buying habits, regulatory and market concerns and trends, collaborative but directed client engagement and communication plan, delivering consistent, and sustainable, best-in-class sales and service results.

What You Will Need:
To be successful at Guidehouse, you will need be sales savvy and capable of leading a Peak Account’s Growth to $50M in annual sales; an accomplished program/project manager/leader of large-scale highly complex engagements; a business-minded executive with experience managing engagement and account economics consistent with firm targets and objectives.  The incoming Partner will have:

  • 15+ years of increasing responsibility experience working within the Financial Services Industry, significant experience at a financial services oriented Federal agency or regulator.  5+ yrs. with heavy index directly to ‘Key Client’ P&L growth accountability
  • Deep understanding of the Federal Reserve Bank.  This includes client plans and vision for IT modernization and operations with knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Must have influential relationships at Federal Reserve that help Guidehouse: start conversations, navigate the organization, prioritize pursuit efforts, and successfully work with Guidehouse leaders and support teams to shape upcoming opportunities in Federal Reserve and other US PSFS institutions
  • Ability to use your understanding of federal government and IRS as well as your strong strategic and detailed organizational skills to identify, pursue and close high value projects at PSFS that result in high quality deliverables at the IRS.
  • A passion and demonstrated track record in business development, client management and year of year measurable results at Public Sector Financial Services clients.
  • Deep but broad content expertise in PSFS institutions modernization and regulatory agenda with a demonstrated ability to develop client (and firm) leaders to embrace change to get results..
  • Proven experience developing purposeful client relationships, the ability to assess and help define their needs, position relevant products and services to shape or meet RFPs  and play a key role in securing new business for the firm
  • Proven ability to develop senior-level relationships across PSFS client institution.
  • A high level of intelligence, strategic, analytical and conceptual skills; a practical approach to problem solving and business growth
  • Able oversee large, complex, multi-work stream, client service delivery teams ($50M+) or manage multiple projects to ensure the highest quality consulting engagement deliverables
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills including public speaking for large and small groups, the ability to leverage the written word in a clear, concise and compelling manner as a tool for communication and persuasion
  • Demonstrated strong network at the Federal Reserve you can demonstrate align to winnable projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited College or University (Masters’ degree preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Prior very-large firm consulting experience
  • Experience managing mission critical operations of massive-scale managed services functions, including on/off shore delivery and optimization
  • Experience in business & technology architecture, including large-scale modernization
  • Deep expertise in management consulting or technology solutions to the U.S. Financial oversight organizations
  • Proven track record of successfully driving the sales and delivery of $1B Total Contract Value federal contracts involving technology, managed services and advisory
  • Proven success with both capture and demand-generated selling
  • Functional or technical background in the solution areas described above

The annual salary range for this position is $209,600.00-$524,100.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
