The Opportunity
GE Vernova is seeking a highly seasoned executive to lead Enterprise Security, which includes: global crisis management, investigations, Executive Protection/Event Security Risk Management and Organizational Resilience. This role carries global responsibility for protecting the company’s people, assets, operations, and reputation, while advising the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors on risk, readiness, and response in an increasingly complex global environment.
The successful candidate will bring enterprise-level judgment, deep functional expertise, and the leadership presence required to guide the organization through high-impact, high-visibility events.
Job Description
Executive Profile
- Senior enterprise executive with extensive and progressive experience leading global security, crisis management, investigative, business resiliency, or related functions within large, complex, asset-intensive organizations.
- Recognized technical and professional authority capable of determining strategic and technical approaches within areas of expertise.
- Demonstrated record of navigating ambiguous, high-risk situations requiring complex judgment, innovative problem solving, and trade-off decisions.
- Exceptional judgment, integrity, executive presence, communication and credibility at the CEO and Board level.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of industry dynamics; energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors strongly preferred.
- Global perspective with experience operating across diverse political, regulatory, and cultural environments.

- Company-wide authority for security, crisis management, investigations, and resilience across GE Vernova’s global operations.
- Direct engagement with the Executive Leadership and Business Teams.
- Significant impact on the security and crisis management discipline, including standards, governance, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set, execute, and continuously evolve a globally integrated, risk-based Enterprise Security and crisis management framework aligned with business strategy and industry realities.
- Execute enterprise business plans and contribute directly to the development of functional strategy across security, investigations, crisis management, and business resilience.
- Advise Company stakeholders during major crises, geopolitical events, and enterprise disruptions, providing calm, decisive leadership and sound executive counsel.
- Manage and develop global teams of experienced professionals and leaders, including management through supervisory staff, ensuring depth of capability and succession.
- Exemplify comprehensive understanding of multiple disciplines within the function—and how they interact—to drive effective, commercially informed decisions.
- Advising senior leadership on emerging threats, enterprise risk exposure, and resilience priorities based on in-depth analysis and interpretative thinking.
- Ensure security and crisis management capabilities are embedded across businesses, regions, and operating models.
- Strong collaborative engagement and influence among senior internal and external stakeholders including: senior government, intelligence, emergency response, and industry partners globally.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with substantial tenure in enterprise security, investigative, crisis management, resilience, risk enabling functions within large, complex, global organizations.
- Demonstrated experience operating at the enterprise executive level, with regular engagement and advisory responsibility to CEOs, executive leadership teams, and boards of directors.
- Proven leadership of global, multi-layered organizations, including management through senior leaders and supervisory management structures.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Ability to travel globally as required (30% or more)
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Military or Law Enforcement Experience
- Master’s Degree
- Experience with Aviation Coordination

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $192,000 and $250,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
