Summary of Role:
We are seeking a Vice President of Sales, APAC for our Commercial & Customers Team to develop, lead, and execute GlobalFoundries’ commercial strategy across India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan, driving revenue growth and strengthening strategic partnerships with key customers, partners, and government stakeholders. This senior leadership role requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, exceptional business acumen, and the ability to navigate diverse market dynamics while ensuring operational excellence.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary executive representative for GlobalFoundries across the APAC region, overseeing all commercial operations, customer engagements, and strategic initiatives to advance the company’s position in these markets. The individual will also serve as the Regional Leader for the APAC sales organization, working to engage, motivate, and align teams to deliver on business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business, government, and commercial strategy to drive sustainable growth and market expansion across India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan.
Identify emerging business opportunities and align regional strategies with global objectives.
Strengthen the company’s competitive position by leveraging market insights and industry trends.
Cultivate and enhance long-term senior relationships with key customers, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and ecosystem players.
Manage and optimize profitability and operational efficiencies while driving revenue growth.
Collaborate with global teams to align end market, legal, government relations, supply chain, pricing, and product delivery to customer needs.
Proactively address market challenges, advocating for GF’s interests across the APAC region.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity across the organization.

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of experience in semiconductor or technology-related commercial leadership roles.
Proven track record of growing revenue and managing large-scale customer relationships.
Strong understanding of APAC’s semiconductor market dynamics, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
Experience navigating complex geopolitical and trade considerations in a global business context.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
