Job Description:
Leverages technology application knowledge to improve job site operations, processes, and change management, increase customer loyalty, and improve sales force effectiveness.

What you will do:
• Drive customer recognition of the value of product feature design, improved processes, and change management.
• Increasing product-positioning knowledge for Caterpillar and providing feedback on product features/benefits.
• Identifying and documenting job/application profiles based on field observation while working with customers.
• Improving the industry’s perception of Caterpillar and participating in related mining associations.

What skills you will have:
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.

Effective Communications and Relationship Management : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Technical Excellence and Field Support: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Knowledge of and experience with providing post-sales support; ability to support maintenance of hardware products.
 

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• English Advanced

• Experience in the Mining Industry or Machine Technology Experience. 

Top Candidates will also have:

• Knowledge of mining technology products and product applications.

• Experience in mining technology environments 

• Experience in MineStar or related.

Additional information:

• This position will require 50 % travel, including travel to mine sites.
