The Team You Will Join

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to reinforce our Accounting & Reporting team.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting, reporting, and financial integrity of several financing and holding entities under Lux GAAP and IFRS. You will work closely with the Accounting & Reporting Manager, internal departments, and our corporate headquarters.

Functions and responsibilities:

Reviewing general and subledgers in SAP ERP for daily/monthly/quarterly transactions.
Ensure proper execution and documentation of internal controls.
Preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements.
Prepare reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annually) for both individual and consolidated financial statements.
Working closely with different departments for monthly, quarterly, annual closing (Treasury, Fiscal, Legal, predominantly).
Collaborate with various teams across Luxembourg and Spain.
Participating in ad hoc projects as needed and requested.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business.
Around 6/7 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing.
Knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP.
Experience with reporting, external audits and consolidation.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work successfully both autonomously and within teams with a proactive approach.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Spanish.
