As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. The position demands vigilance and adaptability to swiftly address challenges that arise within complex software environments, contributing to the overall stability and performance of essential applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience with database security management and user access controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation scripts to optimize database operations.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
