As an Administrative Program Coordinator for the Cole Eye Research Institute, you will act as a liaison and provide administrative, technical and operational support. You will support the Director with daily operations and project execution, coordinate policy evaluation and implementation, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and develop communications and maintain databases.

A caregiver in this role works days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • With guidance from the Director, lead or coordinate multiple projects and policy initiatives.

  • Update, monitor and manage databases.

  • Develop scorecards and milestones to track progress.

  • Analyze project improvement and progress.

  • Report on discrepancies and variances.

  • Coordinate project prioritization and assist with policy and initiative implementation.

  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings.

  • Attend meetings and record key outcomes.

  • Support all office administrative functions.

  • Develop and maintain updates.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Associate's Degree and two years of administrative experience OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Computer skills and experience with software applications

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field 

  • Healthcare experience or related organization 

  • Knowledge of project management and communication practices

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • In some locations, ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
