Pharmacy Coordinator - (Pharmacy Quality Initiatives - Data analysis & Analytics)

Position Purpose:

Perform duties to support the efforts pharmacy department in the development, coordination and maintenance of the health plan's pharmacy program.

  • Track and trend department Quality programs to ensure criteria have been met, analyze cost and determine utilization patterns

  • Assist with educating markets on requests about Quality measure data

  • Assist with the pharmacy utilization review and reporting process

  • Collaborate with Quality Improvement department with various meeting preparation

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Additional Job Specific Details:

  • Strong excel skills are a must

  • Partner in key analytics processes related to Pharmacy Quality Measure performance, quality programs

  • Involvement in team dashboard development and enhancements

  • Facilitating vendor and internal program reporting

  • Understands CMS Quality measures

  • Data analysis – Ability to query/sort data to deliver key information to the department manager for executive level updates. 

  • Ability to make recommendations to drive Quality performance

  • Pharmacy Analytics – data oversight and correct.  Will partner with our analytics team to review current reporting to align with CMS reporting

Working Shift: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday (In your own time zone)

Education/Experience (For Centene Pharmacy Services):
High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a managed care environment. Medicare and/or Medicaid experience preferred. Prior experience using analysis tools or systems (ex: web based, custom, proprietary, etc.). Experience in the implementation of quality process improvement efforts. Experience documenting requirements, creating training materials and working directly with end users.

License/Certificate: Current state's Pharmacy Technician license preferred.

Pay Range: $19.04 - $32.35 per hour
