The Role

You will be part of a squad responsible for MQ and multi-site infrastructure software development and maintenance. This software is used across the brokerage platform to allow switching the mainframe sites they are connected to. This is mission critical software which processes millions of transactions every day. Additional responsibilities include participation in an on-call rotation for all software owned by the team. You will also work with the team leads and stakeholders from other organizations to help prioritize the backlog and plan out major initiatives.
 

The Expertise You Have

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 8+ years of mainframe application development experience which utilize CICS, DB2, MQ

  • Experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting mainframe applications.

  • Expertise with the following: CICS, COBOL, VSAM, MQ, SQL, CPSM, VSAM RLS, CAFC, COBOL native stored procedures, Abend Aid and Intertest

  • Knowledge in Assembler, REXX, JCL, JAVA, IIDR replication, Control-M a plus

This role may be hired at a grade 5 or grade 6
