The Plant Compliance and Performance Manager will lead, manage and continue the development of the Anglian Water managed service desk service and business wide offering. They will be responsible for ensuring company policies are implemented, monitored and audited, engaging in business improvement programmes and establishing and meeting customer needs.
The role is expected to be split between home, office (various AW & Suppliers) and operational site visits and will take responsibility for understanding the business demand and developing opportunities to expand the use of and service provided by the managed service desk. It is a key role for developing performance, whilst confirming the managed service desk added value to capital delivery and business goals.
What will you be doing?
Be the face of MSD (Managed Service Desk) to users across all alliances, chairing regular engagement sessions to understand their problems and highlight areas for continuous improvement.
Collaboratively develop ongoing performance management programme based on demand identified by Anglian Water and MSD users.
Proactively manage supplier performance and where required, accountable for developing performance improvement plans.
Ensure all Non-Conformance Reports (“NCRs") are reported and investigated, reporting findings, trends and remedies.
Validate compliance with the KPIs and service levels.
Improve the service offering through engaging with the supplier and other external bodies in order to identify new innovative solutions & technologies.
Collaborate and champion our supply partners to maximise the usage of this service.
Ownership of ongoing performance management programme
Accountable for monthly review meetings with supplier/Anglian Water.
Manage Early Warnings & Compensation Event in line with contract.
Authorise consolidated application payments by central procurement team.
Ensure company plant standards and policies are effectively implemented, monitored, and audited.
Carry out site audit of owned and hired plant on Anglian Water sites.

What does it take to be successful?
Experience in building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in change management (desirable)
Knowledge of NEC based contracts (desirable)
Ability to communicate both up and down within Anglian Water and partner organisations
The ability to ‘sell’ the benefits of MSD to internal customers
Previous experience in framework management
Commercial acumen
Strong communication, influencing negotiation skills
Excellent stakeholder management and skills
Good IT skills with knowledge Microsoft business packages incl. excel, word and PowerPoint
Good attention to detail
Ability to lead and facilitate win/win outcomes
Driving Licence
