Job Title: Float Client Care Assistant (Veterinary Receptionist)

Salary: £27,300 per annum

Location: Village Vet practices, London- Covering Ealing, St. Johns Wood, Primrose Hill, Maida Vale and Highgate

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 42 hour week- 1 in 6 Saturday mornings.

An opportunity has arisen to join our team at our London team as a Float Client Care Assistant.

You will be covering a number of practices in our London region and responsible for ensuring both our clients and patients receive a professional five-star service throughout their time with us.

This role is fast-paced, friendly and fun with no working day the same.

Your role and responsibilities

The duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.

  • Weighing pets.

  • Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.

  • Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.

  • Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.

  • Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.

  • Processing prescription requests.

  • Taking payments.

  • Promoting offers and services.

  • Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.

  • Covering sites for annual leave and sickness

Required Experience

  • Must have Client facing/Client Care experience

  • Must be confident, committed, and able to work well under pressure with exceptional organisational skills.
