Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Market Director of Growth is responsible for driving sales performance and overall market growth. This role leads the North Central Market sales team to achieve and exceed defined revenue goals by developing and executing strategic growth plans. The Director partners with local, regional, and national leadership to align market strategy, foster collaboration, and build a culture of accountability, innovation, and results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Strategic Planning & Goal Setting:
    Collaborates with regional and national leadership to develop the annual market growth plan. Partners with the Market Leader and Finance to establish clear, achievable sales goals for the team and individuals, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Market Growth Leadership:
    Owns responsibility for achieving organic and net growth targets by driving disciplined sales execution and ensuring pipeline health, cross-practice collaboration, and retention of key clients.
  • Performance Accountability:
    Clearly communicates sales goals, expectations, and progress to the team. Uses data-driven insights to monitor performance, course-correct in real time, and celebrate wins that reinforce a culture of accountability and success.
  • Coaching & Development:
    Actively mentors producers and sales team members through consistent coaching, field collaboration, and joint client engagement. Develops talent by modeling strong sales behaviors, guiding opportunity strategy, and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Field Engagement & Deal Support:
    Partners directly with field leadership to advance new business opportunities. Provides strategic oversight and executive presence in client meetings to help close high-value opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
  • Talent Pipeline & Talent Development:
    Proactively recruits and cultivates a diverse pipeline of high-performing sales talent. Works closely with recruiting and leadership to ensure ongoing development and readiness for future growth opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy:
    Analyzes local market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities. Translates insights into actionable strategies to expand market share and capture new revenue streams.
  • Operational Cadence & Accountability:
    Leads weekly accountability meetings to review performance metrics, top opportunities, activity levels, and network expansion. Ensures team alignment, transparency, and focus on results.
  • Marketing & Brand Integration:
    Partners with local and national marketing teams to shape the market brand strategy, including engagement with centers of influence (COIs), key networking events, and thought leadership opportunities. Promotes market visibility through events, campaigns, and public presence.
  • Vertical Growth & Campaign Execution:
    Identifies priority industry verticals and collaborates with marketing to develop and execute targeted campaigns that drive lead generation and deepen market penetration.
  • Analytics & Continuous Improvement:
    Tracks and evaluates key sales metrics, including wins, vertical performance, and market conversion rates. Leverages insights to refine strategy and optimize results.
  • M&A Integration Support:
    Partners with the Market Leader to engage with potential M&A prospects, representing the market’s growth culture and sales strategy. Provides input during early integration to ensure alignment with OneDigital’s growth framework.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to influence colleagues without direct reporting lines
  • Possess strong verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled at asking good questions and active listening
  • Networking - internal and external – has and can build a network of relationships (inclined toward B2B Strategy)
  • Strong Center of Influences (COIs) that partner to grow business.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple and changing business, colleague and market priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to effectively present data
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and social skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively analyze data and recognize analytical patterns

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required; MBA, preferred
  • 10+ years of proven sales leadership experience
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $245,000.00 to $265,000.00 per year.   

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.  We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
