Product Manager Intern – Intapp Compliance
Location: Palo Alto, CA

As an intern in the Intapp Compliance product team, you will work closely with Sr. Product Managers and their engineering counterparts. You will manage the day-to-day product development activities and work with the UI/UX team, Engineering team, and QA team responsible for the Intapp Compliance products. You will perform requirements gathering, write user stories, design features, communicate with the primary stakeholders, work in agile sprints with engineering to break down epics and stories. This position also involves significant engagement and interaction with Sr. Director and Senior level product management professionals.
What you’ll do:
Develop a deep understanding of the Intapp Compliance Product portfolio
Work in both lean and agile principles, as well as engendering these principles in others
Collaborate with the product, design, and development teams to refine requirements and write user stories, review bugs, manage sprints and releases
Lead requirement discovery sessions with clients and prospects
Partner with Technical writers to write and update documentation
Collaborate with product marketing to articulate value proposition of the features you build
Ensure all data is gathered to make the correct project and technical product decisions
Participate in delivery of critical projects, influencing others while adhering to committed deadlines
Establish strong cross-functional relationships with Engineering, Services, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Customer Support, Finance, and other partner teams
What you’ll need:
In your Senior year of an Information Systems, Computer Science or Business degree (Bachelors or Masters)
A strong and demonstrable interest in the field of product management and an understanding of the basic tenets of project management
Ability to effectively communicate concepts in verbal and written formats
A willingness to defend your ideas; the wisdom to recognize a better one
Comfortable being in a fast-paced and growing environment
Ability to take initiative, work independently and keep projects on track
Strong organizational skills – must be comfortable with learning how to manage multiple projects and priorities while keeping projects on schedule.
Good listener – weighs input from multiple perspectives when forming opinions and recommendations
Collaborative and team-oriented work approach
Strong critical thinking and analysis skills
Some academic or work experience working on projects/programs developing and implementing software and process solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work with the technical team at Intapp

Previous experience in Accounting, Consulting, or Financial Services verticals.

Any work experience in the software industry as a product manager or business analyst

What to Expect:
Our Summer 2025 Internship Program begins June 2nd, 2025 and is projected to end between August 8th and 22nd, depending on your university schedule.
Your professional growth and development will be supported throughout the internship program via project work related to your academic and professional interests, mentorship, and engaging events with other interns and company leadership.
Our internship is hybrid and interns will be expected in the office at least 3 days a week to get the full experience of the Intapp culture and networking opportunities, however, we will evaluate as Summer 2024 approaches.
