Key Account Manager – Specialty – Rheumatology.

District: National. Territory focus locations remain flexible and at discretion of line manager.

The role will focus on working cross-functionally to deliver sales and activity goals for Specialty – Rheumatology therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales through effective engagement with customers, both via customer centric projects and patient focused scientific selling to achieve good sell outcome
  • Be preferred partner for targeted rheumatology and nephrology centres, to drive appropriate increased biologic use
  • Proficient in using appropriate omni-channel selling platforms aligned to customer preferences
  • Regularly measure national and regional market dynamics and individual sales performance and pro-actively seek feedback to continuously improve and develop selling skills
  • Continuously monitor the business environment in the relevant regions and districts (customers, competitors, others) and take appropriate actions through robust Strategic Account plans developed with support of the cross functional team
  • Actively contribute to the maximization of sales development by supporting the brand and disease awareness among Key stakeholders.
  • Engage with key customers through organization of regional and national peer to peer events
  • Accountable for actively contributing into the cross-functional team activities.
  • Ability to work independently and drive the best outcome for patients
  • In all areas, demonstrate understanding of and compliance with laws, codes of conduct, policies and frameworks in which GSK operates and live our vision, values and expectations
  • Have a growth mindset both in terms of personal development and when it comes to seeing opportunities in the running of and participation in new projects.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • University degree in relevant field (Science, Medical or Commercial)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • Authorized Sales representative (LIF)
  • 5+ years of sales experience in pharma industry (Respiratory experience is a bonus)
  • Ability to easily understand, synthesize and present scientific and medical data with external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in strategic account management and demonstrated project management experience
  • Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate several areas of own work under minimal supervision to meet relevant account plan goals
  • Team player, collaborative, Results oriented and Entrepreneurial. Possesses a “can do”, self-starter attitude
