Responsibilities

Document, standardize and improve the manufacturing processes.
Engineering support to the daily needs of the shop floor.
Disposition non conforming materials/products.
Create and update BOMs, process routings, visual aids and other manufacturing resources.
Implement the required actions to meet quality and safety metrics.
Select and request fixtures, tools and/or equipment when needed.
Effective collaboration and communication with customers, fellow manufacturing engineers, design engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, planning and facility engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous experience on a metal-mechanic manufacturing facility.
Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
English Level: Intermediate
US Visa.
Excellent communication, collaborative, initiative, and problem solving skills.
Willing to support production schedules and be able to perform with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Interpretation of drawings per ASME Y14.5
Basic knowledge in GD&T
Experience using instruments of measurement.
AutoCAD, Solid Works and/or Creo Parametric proficiency.
Experience in ERP software.
6 Sigma and Lean process training and project experience
Knowledge of quality tools
