About the Role

In this role, you will lead sales and create an inspiring shopping experience by designing visually exciting product presentations that align with merchant and brand strategies across all stages of the planning and creative development process.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and influence the merchandise assortment on fixtures while considering fixture capacity, number of styles and customer choices, inventory levels, merchandise sell-through and key sales drivers

  • Create product presentation solutions to maximize sales and create a strong merchandise statement on the floor

  • Partner with Merchandising on the execution of customer-driven store experience strategies

  • Leverage key business metrics in the development of merchandise designs

  • Articulate tradeoffs and generate solution recommendations to key partners

  • Integrate knowledge of the competitive landscape into viable merchandising options

  • Lead merchandising and capital projects within a category

  • Partner with Merchandising managers and assistant managers to design product presentations that fit the merchandise assortment on the sales floor

  • Create seasonal merchandise initiatives within a division

  • Present and influence merchandising plan options to Category Managers

  • Drive and support merchandise standards through all store communication vehicles

  • Additional tasks may be assigned 

What Skills You Have

Required

  • 3+ years of Store Experience and Design or related experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to navigate new technology and software

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Prior experience working with floor sets or merchandise planograms

  • Prior retail experience or exposure to merchandising principles

  • JDA Floor & Space Planning

  • Adobe Suite and Google SketchUp

Special Requirements

  • Overnight Travel

  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments within the store
