SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE

As Director, SLED System Engineering you will be an inspirational thought leader, with an emphasis on possessing broad industry technology knowledge, executive sales experience and a ‘Customer First’ mentality. 

You are expected to be the Systems Engineering leadership advocate, firstly leading from the front through engaging as an industry, and publicly visible influential thought leader, and directly helping to pivot key relationships in our G2000 Accounts, as well as be a technical executive influencer through our pathways to market.

You will have the following key attributes: 

  • A Customer First mentality and focus with a passion to improve our customer’s business through Pure’s unique technology and business value.
  • Strong Sales biased, competitive high energy personality who is able to drive value and influence business at all levels of the Sales organization. Strong empathy with Pure and Partner Sales Executives is regarded as an essential success factor.
  • Ideally, you will have been exposed to strategic planning and organizational development initiatives and being a confident leader in driving organizational change to meet the growth needs of the business.

What you will be doing

  • Foster an open, transparent and collaborative leadership culture within your direct reports, build a strong and cohesive leadership team with a focus on execution towards functional objectives and support of all Pure cross functional requirements.
  • Support Executive leadership through the annual Fiscal Planning process
  • Hold quarterly leadership business reviews and course correct against leading business indicators.
  • Manage a quarterly cadence of communications and meetings which are in sync with the Sales Field Management Process.

What you bring to the table

  • University Bachelor Degree or equivalent related experience, preferably in the field of Computer Science.
  • At least 12 years’ experience leading a pre-sales organization, preferably within Public Sector accounts.  
  • Exposure to management and executive development training programs, or ideally MBA related studies specifically in the area of Strategic Planning and Organizational Development.
  • Rapid career development at a leading technology company leading to a VP level appointment, with a demonstrable success track record of leading a high performing pre-sales organization.

The annual base salary range is: $189,000 – $302,400. 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
