Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination and completion of large-sized projects and programs that require business and/or technology changes.  Will also serve as the escalation point for the project team to discuss changes, risks, and any schedule updates and facilitate communications to the business sponsors, business leads, and IT team members.     

Job Duties

• Manage all aspects, including business and IT tasks, of assigned large-sized and vendor projects and/or programs.  Lead project teams through all project processes as defined by the EPMO processes. 

• Serve as an SME with detailed understanding of business processes and applications, customer needs and priorities.

• Resolve project issues, mitigates project risks, manages scope, and manages deadlines.

• Build and maintain positive and constructive relationships with key business, IT stakeholders, team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects, and appropriately manage expectations. 

• Facilitate meetings to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close-out projects. 

• Facilitate the completion and archiving of all necessary documentation during the life the project.

• Communicate project status to stakeholders and EPMO management team on a regular basis.

• Create and maintain project schedules from initiation to closing of the project.  

• Proactive in developing and implementing processes, procedures and policies for IT Project Management.

• Train and transfer knowledge to new and existing Project Manager of all levels.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or educational experience in related field preferred, or relevant work experience. 

• 6-8 years experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale project budgets, timelines, and resources.

• Proficiency in advanced project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.

• Experience in managing high-profile projects within specific industries relevant to the organization, such as IT, engineering, or finance.

• Proven success in strategic project execution and delivery of projects that have substantial organizational impact.

• Background in process improvement and application of best practices in project management.

• Deep understanding of advanced project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Expertise in project management software and tools for comprehensive planning, tracking, and reporting.

Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination and completion of large-sized projects and programs that require business and/or technology changes. This role plays a critical part in cross-functional relationship building, stakeholder management, influence across the organization, and execution on high priority enterprise-level initiatives to include technology modernization, testing strategies, cyber security, and additional Ad Hoc initiatives.

• Manage infrastructure, network, and security projects with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life cycle.

Responsible for coordinating and completing projects and programs that necessitate business and/or technological changes. Additionally, the Security, Operations, and Governance Sr Technical Project Manager will oversee and deliver projects for the Security, Operations, and Governance departments requiring business or technological transformations. This role is crucial for fostering cross-functional relationships, managing stakeholders, exerting organizational influence, and executing high-priority initiatives such as technology modernization, testing strategies, cybersecurity, governance, operations, and various other ad hoc tasks.
