Job Description

1.Apply the 6SQ methodology to sustain a safe, clean, and orderly facility

2. Maintains database, performs cycle counts of inventory, and reconciles actual stock to computer generated reports.

3. Ensure that the FIFO rotation procedure is being adhered to by all warehouse personnel.

4. Identify obsolete/damaged/slow moving inventory.
5. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

6. Assist the department lead in: the coordination of cycle counts, research, aisle audits, adjustments, inventory reporting and ensuring that appropriate records are maintained.

  • Minimum of 2 years of inventory experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Complete lift/reach/safety orientation course(s); operate forklift as needed.
  • Ability to reconcile cycle counts to report data.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Clerical, MS Word, Excel and/or office skills.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Participate in vendor consignment audits internally and externally.
