Capital GMC Buick Cadillac is hiring a Shipper Receiver/Driver to join our Parts Department! This role is vital in ensuring the efficient delivery and receipt of automotive parts while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver parts and equipment to customers, vendors, and satellite locations

  • Pick up parts and equipment as needed, coordinating with the Parts Manager and Counter staff

  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations in the parts department

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of deliveries, including obtaining recipient signatures

  • Maintain and clean the delivery van, ensuring it is in safe operating condition

  • Perform minor upkeep checks on the van (oil checks, refueling, etc.)

  • Keep the parts department organized and professional in appearance

  • Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Familiarity with city routes and efficient navigation skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably

  • Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset

  • Professional appearance and reliability

  • Ability to use a company cellphone and dispatch software (training provided)

  • Experience in shipping/receiving is an asset but not required
