Nord Pool operates Europe’s power markets across multiple countries, enabling secure trading, clearing and settlement for energy producers and consumers. Unlike many exchanges, we run our Clearing and Settlement in-house — giving us direct control over mission-critical financial infrastructure. 

We are now looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of our Post Trade domain: Clearing, Settlement, Payments, Invoicing and Customer banking Onboarding. 

This is a high-impact role owning systems that move real money, serve international trading firms, and underpin European energy markets. 

You will report to the Head of Products and work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Business Development. 

Your Mission: 

• Own the end-to-end product strategy for Post-Trade 

• Drive system modernisation across Clearing, Settlement and Payments 

• Improve customer onboarding and operational efficiency 

• Translate business and regulatory requirements into product roadmaps 

• Partner with Engineering Leads on architecture and delivery 

• Manage product pricing and cost awareness 

• Explore Open Banking and real-time payments as enablers for next-generation exchange services 

• Act as Product lead for a mission-critical part of Nord Pool’s infrastructure 

What success looks like 

Within 12–18 months: 

• Faster, simpler onboarding for customers 

• Modernised settlement workflows 

• Clear product roadmap delivering measurable operational improvements 

• Early adoption of Open Banking or similar technologies 

• Strong alignment between Product, Engineering and Operations 

What we’re looking for 

Required 

• Product management experience in fintech, banking, payments, settlement or financial operations 

• Strong ownership mentality and ability to drive products from concept to production 

• Experience working with complex systems and technical teams 

• Stakeholder management across business and engineering 

• International experience in B2B environments 

Nice to have 

• Clearing & Settlement experience 

• Open Banking / PSD2 

• Energy trading or market infrastructure
