Management/steering responsibilities
- Manage the interaction between Marketing and the responsible sub-region (being Sales link to Global Marketing/Business Unit)
- Work as a member of the JK F&B management team (consisting of head of sales, TS and RMM)
- Work together with Sales Head & TS Head to manage regional activities (Setting growth plans, driving the team to execute the plan to deliver the targeted growth).
- Make MGAB (Marketing Guidelines AB) and serve as a budget challenger for AB/MTP/FF
- Translate the GMP (Global Marketing Plan) into operational guidelines for Sales
- Gather cross-functional regional inputs for the MTP
- Participate in the GMT on behalf of JK F&B management to represent the JK team
- Build strong relationship with key members of the PPMG
Operational day-to-day responsibilities
- Identify market and customer trends and gather competitor intelligence and communicate findings to Sales
- Drive and initiate analysis of competitive market forces based on input coming from Sales and TS
- Identify, prioritize, follow-up and hand-over new business opportunities in existing markets based on market, customer and competitor analysis (scouting for, developing and qualifying ideas/new leads)
- Drive implementation of product pruning and product substitution within the region as defined by PPMG
- Drive or support launch of new products in the region (may play a role of Launch Captain)
- Provide regional pricing information and ensure it complies with local legislation and market conditions
- Provide regional inputs to planning and follow-up for marketing communications and marketing campaigns (local trade show, online marketing campaigns, interviews with industry newspapers/magazines, publishing articles in industry magazine)
- Run and coordinate regional market communication campaigns (See above for the examples)
- Develop tools and operational guidelines for sales
- Participate and support sales in selected key meetings
- Drive regional Innovation Strategies and N2M initiative together with JK F&B management team.
Support responsibilities
- Secure resources and capabilities for business development in the regions (Need to work together with Head of FBB JK for assessment of business potential and the resource needed to grow Functional Food business in JK.)
