Job Summary
Synechron is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Associate to lead the support, implementation, and management of Microsoft-based solutions for our clients. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and innovative Microsoft technology services aligned with client requirements and organizational standards. The Senior Associate will play a key role in enhancing client satisfaction, driving technical excellence, and contributing to the organization’s business objectives through effective solution delivery and support.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (2016 or later; advanced proficiency)
Strong understanding of Windows Operating System (Windows 10, 11) and Windows Server (2016, 2019, or later)
Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and services
Knowledge of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016, 2019)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement and/or Finance & Operations modules)
Familiarity with the .NET Framework and C# programming language (intermediate level or higher)
Preferred:
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
Experience with Microsoft 365 productivity tools and enterprise security solutions
Overall Responsibilities
Act as the primary technical contact for Microsoft-related solutions, providing expert support and guidance to clients and internal teams
Collaborate with clients to understand their business and technology needs; recommend and architect appropriate Microsoft solutions
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft software, hardware, and cloud services, ensuring optimal performance and security
Lead the deployment of new Microsoft solutions and integrations, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards
Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support to ensure high system availability and performance
Conduct training sessions and create documentation to facilitate user adoption and system understanding
Work collaboratively across teams to resolve complex technical issues, escalate when necessary, and improve support processes
Stay current with Microsoft technology developments and certifications, continuously enhancing expertise and service quality
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
Required: C# (intermediate or higher proficiency)
Preferred: PowerShell scripting for automation and system management
Databases/Data Management:
Basic understanding of SQL Server and data querying techniques
Cloud Technologies:
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, and app services
Frameworks and Libraries:
Microsoft .NET Framework and familiarity with .NET Core development practices
Development Tools and Methodologies:
Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum delivery models
Security Protocols:
Knowledge of Microsoft security best practices, identity management (Azure AD), authentication protocols, and data encryption techniques
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working with Microsoft solutions in support, implementation, or consulting roles
Proven experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 environments
Demonstrated success in managing client interactions and delivering technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
Alternative pathways: relevant hands-on experience through projects, certifications, or internships demonstrating mastery of Microsoft technologies
Day-to-Day Activities
Respond to client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolutions for Microsoft product and service related requests
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security audits
Lead or participate in the design and deployment of new Microsoft solutions for clients
Conduct user training, prepare supporting documentation, and facilitate knowledge transfer
Collaborate with internal teams to identify solutions, escalate complex issues, and implement improvements
Maintain accurate records of configurations, procedures, and incidents for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field; relevant experience may substitute academic qualifications
Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Developer are highly preferred
Ongoing commitment to professional development through certifications and training in Microsoft technologies
