ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Retail, the QLD State Manager will on-board, find and manage new dealers to sell our products within their store/s.

The State Manager will also manage our current portfolio of stores to increase Circles Life market share within the retail space. Complete execution from prospecting perspective dealers, to on-board, develop and train their teams in selling our products and meeting sales objectives. The State Manager will also support key National Accounts and work with your state manager to execute and deliver sales results and KPI’s. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a State Manager, your key objectives will be to:

  • On-board and find direct dealers to sell our products within their store/s. Complete execution from prospecting perspective dealers, to on-board, develop and train their teams in selling our products and meeting sales objectives.
  • Be their main point of contact from an accounts and escalations point of view. You will work within the state and will provide ongoing training and motivation to staff to execute proactive initiatives to maximise sales. 
  • Provide creative and specialist advice on merchandising and category management to help achieve this. There will be a need for local area marketing initiatives and complete ownership of the your area results which will include forecasting and using budgets accordingly
  • This role will involve travel within QLD and you must have access to your own private transport
  • You will need strong persuasion skills, be very self sufficient and act in a professional manner at all times. You will need to strong influencing skills to clearly communicate the benefits of our products and services as well as ensuring optimal brand representation throughout your locations.

 

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for passionate individuals who:

  • Is a Self Starter with a pro-active can do attitude
  • With minimum 5 years of experience within retail (or equivalent) with a successful track record of selling and customer service
  • Has proven track record in a customer centric environment
  • Has Retail management experience
  • Account Management Skills is a plus
  • With proven collaborator and strong cross-functional team player
  • Autonomous and can-do attitude
  • Ideally some form of experience within the telco space where you may already have relationships with stores
