Job summary

The Red Hat UX Research team is looking for a highly motivated Intern with experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research to join us in Raanana, Israel. In this role, you will contribute to the research efforts for Red Hat’s core products. You’ll help plan and run studies, analyze data, and present findings to the product team. As an Intern, you'll contribute to an international team by conducting research to better understand user needs and behaviors, helping to inform and shape the design of our products. This long-term internship will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in user research, providing hands-on mentorship and the ability to learn more about different research methods, as well as exposure to teams across Red Hat (design, product management, and engineering).

What you will do:

• Assist in preparing research plans, interview guides, and participant recruitment materials.

• Support the execution of user research studies, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests.

• Help conduct standard research activities such as usability testing, card sorting, and concept evaluations.

• Summarize and synthesize research findings for review by senior researchers and cross-functional teams.

• Organize and maintain research data, documentation, and insights for easy access and reference.

What you will bring:

• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research techniques such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

• Ability to analyze and synthesize data to uncover insights and user behavior patterns.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and presenting research findings.

• Basic knowledge and willingness to use AI tools to aid research processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2027 or 2028

• Must be available for the internship from May 2026 till April 2027
