This full-time, on-site role is based at the Brussels office and reports directly to the Head of Services LPS (Lab Products & Services) South Europe, ensuring reliable service delivery and long-term customer relationships across the region.
Grow with Us – Your Responsibilities
Leading and coordinating the service technician team as well as the service back office to ensure clear prioritization and operational focus
Planning, organizing, and scheduling preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair activities in line with business priorities
Driving operational excellence through clear goal setting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
Aligning and continuously improving service processes to enable efficient collaboration, including annual training planning, team development, and system optimization
Maintaining close collaboration with product sales to ensure seamless operational service support throughout the customer lifecycle
Building and strengthening long-term customer relationships to secure repeat business and increase service-related revenue
Working cross-functionally with technical support, sales, and product teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
Ensuring policies, procedures, and compliance standards are clearly understood and consistently understood and applied across the organization
Promoting a data-driven mindset by maintaining fault analysis, customer data, and technical documentation to support service and product improvements
Acting as a representative and ambassador of the Belgium service organization within the South Europe Services network
Academic degree in engineering, metrology, life sciences, or a comparable technical field
Proven experience as a Team Lead within metrology, life sciences, or related industries, ideally with exposure to precision instruments such as balances
Several years of leadership experience in field service or service operations, with a strong people-management focus
Highly organized working style combined with a clear, structured, and corporate communication approach
Strong customer orientation with demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and build long-term partnerships
Confident change leader with the ability to provide direction, set priorities, and create clarity for teams
Solid digital skills, including Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is considered a plus
Fluency in English and mandatory Dutch (Flemish); French is considered an advantage
