Position Overview 

The Autodesk Digital Experience (DXC) product organization is looking for a skilled product manager to join our Web Analytics team, overseeing measurement operations and data collection strategy. The Web Analytics team plays a key role in defining Autodesk’s digital data collection strategy, developing data requirements to enable product teams to better understand the impact of their experiences. The team also develops tools and processes for validating data accuracy and monitoring ongoing quality issues and schema adherence. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Web Analytics, in a hybrid workplace. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • You will be a hands-on analytics and data product manager leading data collection and instrumentation across Autodesk's global digital experiences

  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytics framework for digital experiences to support deep insights and decision-making across product and business teams

  • Document analytics requirements and create instrumentation specifications for Engineering across digital experience journeys and platforms

  • Lead analytics tagging and instrumentation strategy & taxonomy 

  • Develop and prioritize digital analytics data and instrumentation roadmap balancing target future state and short-term optimization

  • Partner with cross functional teams to enhance existing analytics models and dashboards, create additional metrics, reports and/or visualizations based on evolving business needs

  • Track industry trends and the competitive landscape as it relates to data instrumentation and web analytics reporting

  • Creatively resolve blockers, manage stakeholders, and balance multiple competing priorities to find optimal solutions to technical challenges

  • Act as the primary point of contact for leadership stakeholders in the product, engineering, ads & marketing stakeholders as the team translates business requirements into technical specifications

  • Create clear, concise documentation to educate stakeholders, including training materials for end users of the data products to ensure data is being interpreted as intended and used in a compliant manner

  • Contribute to the product team a deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our products

 
Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience with MarTech platforms in an agile environment

  • 3-5 years of product management experience with digital analytics and the instrumentation of digital analytics tools or digital measurement tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar, an understanding and experience with tag management system such as  Tealium or similar and has an expert understanding of how data is structured or captured from web and native applications

  • Experience writing data collection rules within analytic tooling interface such as Adobe Analytics processing rules or similar

  • Understanding of the digital landscape and how to capture and structure user engagement and product performance, and data for use in downstream analytics or marketing tools

  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative 

  • Proficiency with SQL

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $89,300 and $154,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
