JR59394 PDE-MCT Process and Systems Engineer/Senior Engineer

As Process and Systems Engineer/Senior Engineer under PDE-MCT Manufacturing Standardization Engineering team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the team working on enabling and sustaining key capabilities in manufacturing systems used in Assembly and Test Backend operations. In this role, you will be tasked to lead key projects and driving network discussions to enable/Improve key processes and systems capabilities. Collaborate with key functional teams to review and manage all aspects related to AT-MES lot traveler / labelling processes and systems; manage the manufacturing key attributes, relevant information & other associated details to enhance the traceability of system, ensuring the efficiency of production operations.

Job Responsibilities and Task

• Collaborate with various PDE teams, A/T (Assembly and Test) Sites, Central Teams and other functional areas in developing and improving business processes.

• Participate in cross-functional enabling projects and initiatives that support introducing and developing new systems/process.

• Collaborate with key functional teams to review and manage all aspects related to AT-MES Lot Traveler and labelling process and systems; manage the manufacturing key attributes, relevant information & other associated details to enhance the traceability of system, ensuring the efficiency of production operations.

• Utilize tools for Project Management to plan, scope out, communicate and execute project objectives and deliverables.

• Review Traceability systems, develop reports and initiate/lead improvement projects as part of data quality initiatives.

• Set-up, Design and sustain Manufacturing Lot Travelers and Labels

• Understand Business requirements and perform Set-up, Design, Testing, Qual and Deployment on new Lot Traveler/Label Requirements or enhancements.  

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years working experience with strong understanding of backend assembly processes/ operations or related manufacturing environment.

• Experience in Lot Traveler / Label Design Related Software like Bartender Designer

• Strong Project / Program management skills and knowledge of basic Task management Tools (e.g., Jira, Azure TFS).

• Knowledge in report data query tools like SQL (MSSQL, Snowflake, GCP/Big Query), VB Scripts, Data Virtualization (TDV), Macro, Python, Perl

• Experience on data visualization tools and reports like Tableau, PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire

• Proficiency in Productivity applications like Office - Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Confluence and Statistical Tools - JMP

• Possess sound methodology for organizing work, decision-making and setting priorities.

• Good knowledge of data analysis and analytical problem solving

• Good team player with good communication and leadership skills, be able to work with multicultural environment.

• Self-motivated and adaptable to Micron’s fast paced and dynamic work environment; able to work under minimum supervision.
