How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Customer Experience (CX) Specialist is a centralized role that supports branch order and inventory management. The primary responsibility of this role is to improve the lead times of customer orders. This will be through the daily review of customer backorders, drop ship orders, and aged customer orders and taking action to improve our service levels. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the CX Specialist will provide support for any other initiatives that reduce customer effort.

This position has a hybrid work arrangement with scheduled days in our downtown Tulsa office combined with days available to work from home, after initial training.
  • Review open customer backorders and drop ship orders daily, follow up with vendors to ensure proper lead times are  reflected in SAP, follow up with Branch and sales associates to identify potential substitute or alternative product  offerings, and support excellent communication to customers either directly or via branch and sales associates.

  • Review aged open orders and expedite completion and delivery.

  • Coordinate expedited delivery of products from vendors and distribution centers to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.

  • Communicate expected delivery dates with branches and customers, as well as follow up to ensure order was  satisfactorily fulfilled. 

  • Communicate with the branch to ensure proper stocking levels are set for commonly backordered product. 

  • Develop strong relationships with the branches, as well as hardgood vendors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Some commercial collection experience is preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in SAP. 

  • Strong hardgood product knowledge.

  • Strong follow up skills.
