Senior Systems Analyst, Decision Engine

We’ll be looking to you to make vital adjustments to existing rule flows and rules including championing, challenging and randomization as guided by the Risk Management team. 

Role Responsibilities 

  • Configure, test, and deploy new rule flows and updates in the decision engine to support evolving business needs.

  • Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new and modified rules in collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

  • Monitor for any rules firing incorrectly based on historical trends and conduct user acceptance testing relating to new or revised rules. And identify incorrect rule firing patterns based on historical data. 

  • Implementing new functionality such as velocity variables and lookup tables to enhance decision making. Additionally, you’ll make a difference by addressing performance issues in rule execution. 

  • Implement enhancements such as velocity metrics, lookup tables, and calculated variables to improve decision quality. 

  • Identify opportunities for optimization and contribute to the definition of technical requirements and specifications. 

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize business impact. 

  • Manage daily intake and prioritization of rule change requests and investigate and address performance issues in rule execution pipelines. 

 

Role Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related and 2 or more years of experience in rule configuration’s preferably using FICO Blaze advisor. Besides, at least 2 years of experience in leadership roles or team leader. It is desirable to have experience in the software development industry. 

  • Hands on in implementation, production testing from a UAT perspective. 

  • Experience in programing, SQL/Snowflake, Phyton, etc. is a mandatory requirement.  

  • Experience payments fraud, Payment’s industry standards such as PSD2, Push Payments, Card processing, etc. 

  • Advanced MSOffice skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 

  • Strong communication, presentation skills, self-organized and time management. Advanced English Level. 

  • Experience with Kanban, and /or Safe. Experience with Wrike, SharePoint, Visio. Knowledge or experience in UX and API. Knowledge in project management tools like Jira, Confluence. Exposure to decision engines like Provenir, Strategy Ware, Strategy Manager / Power Curve or IBM Operational Decision Manager.  

  • It requires database & querying experience using SQL, Hive, Hadoop etc. with testing experience using SOAP UI or similar tools.
