JR66547 Senior Customer Systems Engineer

As a Customer System Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you will play a meaningful role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding support and service. You will be responsible for solving issues and providing technical solutions for complex system related to memory and storage products using Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes & Protocol Analyzers. In addition, you will be tasked with leading the Tokyo CEL lab, including conducting audits and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers by diagnosing and resolving issues related to memory and storage products (LPDDR5/DDR5/UFS/SSD/etc.) or system using Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes & Protocol Analyzers.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact directly with customers to understand their technical challenges, provide mentorship, and ensure timely resolution of their issues.
  • Lab Management: Manage the lab environment, including equipment setup, maintenance, and organization. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lab equipment, configurations, and customer interactions. Create and update customer report as needed.
  • Training: Provide training to customers, distributors and colleagues on the accurate use and solving of equipment and systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Management, Sales and Distributors, to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvement.
  • Continuous Learning: Always stay updated with the latest industry trends, new memory and storage technologies, and system debugging tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3~5 years) in resolving technical issues related to memory/storage products using Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Protocol Analyzers.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software debugging tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication (fluent Japanese and business level English) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to our external and internal customers.
  • Some experience in lab management, including equipment maintenance and auditing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
