Position: Senior Product Manager
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Develops and enhances moderately complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance to stakeholders. Demonstrate an understanding of InfoSec policies and process. Owns business and user acceptance testing for simple products/features. Independently represents technology requirements and drives technology design outcomes. Demonstrates an understanding of product architecture, services involved, and the database and cloud technologies used. Leverages knowledge of competitor products/services for assigned products. Drives informed discussions with engineering teams and stakeholders to assess feasibility and risks and prioritize efforts, features, and capabilities. Research and verify customer needs and expectations. Delivers customer value within the parameters of profitability and other targets. Builds and maintains consistent customer connections and solicits customer feedback. Creates customer journeys and identifies customer touchpoints. Addresses gaps/risks in product experiences. Simplifies and improves processes to drive customer satisfaction.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management; OR Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience defining and managing product roadmaps, strategies and implementing plans for IT product solutions using MS Office and MS Visio. Experience leading technology product design, analysis, development and system integration. Experience with MS Office and tools like Confluence, SharePoint and similar internal tools to document functional and technical requirements, document use cases, analyze business processes, analyze end to end process flows, execute current state vs. future state assessments, and impact analysis. Experience working in an agile based delivery model and executing requirement analysis, creating user stories, sprint planning, executing project evaluations and executing implementation plans using JIRA. Experience providing functional and analytical support to engineering and business teams via research and data analysis using SQL and MS Excel. Experience facilitating testing activities and owning business and user acceptance testing for products and features. Experience with media technology within retail industry vertical. Experience working on big data tools like Hadoop, Teradata, and Hive to identify, analyze, and leverage data to improve product performance. Experience with adtech targeting, email marketing and working with a large amount of customer data. Experience representing technology requirements and driving technology design outcomes including discussions around product architecture, services involved, and database and cloud technologies used. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $157,636/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
