This role reports to the Markets Business Execution Lead. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Markets Business Execution team, Compliance, Product Business Executives, and various internal stakeholders to support the Markets business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience under pressure, adapt swiftly to evolving priorities, and maintain focus on critical tasks during peak periods. A natural team player, the candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This job description provides a high-level view of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive business, administrative, and support assistance to the Business Execution team.
  • Disseminate regulatory process and controls guidance to Markets employees.
  • Lead the development and dissemination of Markets-wide communications, including periodic regulatory reminders.
  • Offer daily operational and management support to the Markets Business Execution team.
  • Oversee control-related activities, including quarterly self-assessments, internal reviews, and control meetings.
  • Facilitate the creation and ensure the timely closure of Corrective Action Plans for product teams.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects spanning various aspects of the Markets business.
  • Work on business continuity plans and documentation.
  • Supervise and optimize business management tasks executed by the Manila Business Controls & Support team.
  • Utilize technology and tools to enhance engagement and effectiveness of risk communications.

Skills:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of various Markets products, their booking models, operational processes, and control frameworks.
  • Drive the effective implementation of regulatory policies across the Markets Business.
  • Expedite the closure of identified control issues specifically within the Markets operations.
  • Support the planning and preparation for impending audits and reviews pertaining to the Markets Business.
  • Demonstrates consistently clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player, adept at fostering effective teamwork and achieving results.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience working with financial services regulators, in Markets Compliance, or in roles requiring significant interaction with regulatory bodies.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in business, or a related field.
