Position Summary

In your role as a Procurement Infrastructure Buyer, you'll be responsible for supporting and executing on professional procurement responsibilities (detailed below) for parts related to Facilities Operations and Maintenance Group and UT Chemicals. This includes negotiation, working with internal customers and external suppliers to reach mutually agreeable and cost-efficient business agreements.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Primary responsibilities include to facilitate procurement workflow, vendor management, negotiate pricing/terms, and regular reporting to management.

  • Issue and manage the PO process and tracking of PO items through to delivery.

  • Facilitate resolution of invoicing issues and shipping/order discrepancies . Work with internal customers to understand requirements, define scopes of work (SOW), and drive cost efficiencies.

  • Conduct UT Chemical quarterly and annual RFPs and PO creation; schedule weekly chemical deliveries.

  • Support adoption of new procurement systems and processes including internal customer support and guidance.

  • Participate in meetings with suppliers and stakeholders o Supplier quality management

  • Assist in the achievement of company objectives and KPIs.

  • Update business practices and participate in audits as necessary

  • Follow and enforce rules and procedures to support new systems and processes for indirect procurement.

  • Workdays and Hours: 1st shift, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent work experience

  • 1+ years of related experience in procurement, supply chain, or material management

  • CPM/CPSM/CPIM certification a plus.

  • Experience in negotiating and managing goods and service contracts.

  • Experience with SAP MM Module a plus.

The current base salary range for this role is between $57,760 - $127,770. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
