Position Summary

A global manufacturing company, with high-volume operations is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support its site in Monterrey. This role is critical to ensuring alignment between business strategy and people operations in a dynamic environment with over 4,000 employees, both unionized and salaried. The ideal candidate brings broad HR expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the HR team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and development

  • Lead or support labor relations processes, including union engagement, contract interpretation, and conflict resolution

  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with internal policies and market benchmarks

  • Ensure compliance with labor law, health and safety regulations, and corporate governance standards

  • Drive organizational development initiatives such as talent planning, leadership development, and cultural alignment

  • Supervise employee services including transportation, cafeteria, and site-level engagement programs

  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to align HR practices with business objectives

  • Monitor HR metrics and lead continuous improvement efforts in retention, engagement, and performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Relations, or related field

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings

  • Experience managing salaried and unionized populations in high-volume operations (3,000+ employees)

  • Demonstrated leadership of HR teams, including coaching, performance management, and team development

  • Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and collective bargaining frameworks

  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making
