This position is a full-time onsite role, Monday-Friday at our Melbourne, FL facility

What You Will Do:

  • Execute allocation strategies to distribute finished goods across open sales orders, balancing "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) principles with high-priority “Expedite" requests.
  • In scenarios of limited supply, determine the most strategic distribution of products to minimize impact across the customer base.
  • Audit order data for accuracy (shipping terms, addresses, and delivery dates) before releasing them to the warehouse.
  • Partner with the Customer Account Admin team to resolve credit holds or documentation requirements that prevent order release.
  • Maintain a constant feedback loop with the manufacturing floor to understand build schedules and adjust delivery windows based on actual output.
  • Ensure specialized shipping requirements or milestones are met
  • Coordinate with Program Office potential solutions when production delays threaten delivery deadlines to manage customer expectations.
  • Prioritize Safety, Quality and follow all EH&S guidelines when working on the shop floor.
  • Participate in continuous improvement events as needed to improve process related to the role.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility, manufacturing scheduling, planning, inventory cycle, logistics and/or production control.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Transportation Management Systems to track inventory and shipments.
  • Previous experience in Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning.
  • High proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau to monitor Key Performance Indicators (e.g. On Time Delivery).
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods and tools such as process mapping, standard work, RACI, Problem Solving tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex production / logistical delays into simple, empathetic updates.
  • Customer focus, shifting the mindset of delivering a product to fulfilling a promise.
  • Effective time management, organizing multiple moving parts without missing a beat.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
