We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) to support our Cross Asset Trading< consulting team in Germany, ideally based in our office in Frankfurt. This is a hybrid position, that allows you to shift between home office and office/client-side.

About the role:  

As Senior Consultant you will be part of implementation projects of our “Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform” solution – formerly known as Front Arena – and you will be the main point of contact for the customers.

You will not only work in modern environments with state of the art applications in the financial sector, you will also cooperate with development teams on new products and services, which also includes the design, implementation of technological integrations and the expansion of infrastructure.

About the team:

We are a dynamic and international team of Front Arena consultants. As part of the global Consulting Services organization, we help our clients, who are among the largest companies in the world, to break new ground in streamlining and automating their trading and risk business. Every day brings new and demanding challenges that we can only overcome together in the team and in intensive cooperation with all stakeholders.

What you will be doing: 

  • Participate in consulting projects for financial companies as part of a team to meet specific client requirements.
    • Consulting on issues of performance, infrastructure
    • Installation and setup of applications
    • Developing scripts, customizing implementation of applications.
  • Writing test plans and test cases to ensure that enhancements made to applications meet client requirements and maintain application integrity.

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Information science, computer science, business administration, economics, finance, or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Knowledge of the trading industry and their solutions like Bloomberg’s, Calypso, Murex, etc.
  • Knowledge of standard software development methodologies, such as waterfall model or agile approaches
  • Proficiency in at least one appropriate application programming language, preferably Python, and SQL, general database knowledge
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences at different hierarchical levels
  • Coaching of internal staff
  • Good analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
  • Ability to persuade and influence others of the best course of action
