Hitachi Energy is seeking an Order Management Specialist to join our team in Hunker, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be at the center of the customer experience, ensuring orders are managed efficiently from contract review through successful delivery and closeout.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact

  • Review customer specifications and contracts to ensure compliance with agreed terms and requirements.
  • Coordinate communication between customers and internal teams to support successful order execution.
  • Monitor order progress, schedules, and performance to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Represent the organization in customer interactions and meetings, delivering a high standard of service.
  • Apply company best practices and policies throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Identify, assess, and manage order-related risks while pursuing opportunities for improvement.
  • Capture and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee financial aspects of orders, including payment follow-up and resolution of collection issues.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of experience in order management, project management, commercial operations, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Industrial or technical industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Authorization to work in the United States and strong English communication skills.
