As a Collections Supervisor with OneMain Financial, you would oversee the day-to-day operations of Collections Specialists responsible for locating and collecting on delinquent customers. You will have the awesome responsibility of training, mentoring and coaching individual team members on reaching goals of collecting on delinquent installment loans. You will manage an installment loan queue of up to approximately 1200 accounts and a team of 6 collectors.
 

Location: Onsite in West Valley City, UT

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm and rotating Saturdays

Pay: base + bonus potential

In the role:

  • Places outgoing calls and takes incoming calls. Completes required applicable paperwork including sending all required collection letters.
  • Assists in the training and daily work coordination for assigned team members. This includes classes and meetings with team regarding updates on changes to FDCPA and other applicable regulations.
  • Assists lower level Account Managers on how to improve their collections by providing tips and techniques for increasing collections.
  • Reviews accounts for repossession action or legal action to protect Foursight’s  interest in the collateral.
  • Prepares collection and performance reports to provide to team members and Supervisor on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Works with difficult customers and manages escalated calls the Account Manager and Sr Account Manager is not able to resolve.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of call center or collections experience
  • Goal oriented self-starter
  • Ability to work well with others
