Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of up to 40 professionals, ensuring high performance and engagement.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the team.

  • Manage team workloads, ensuring optimal resource allocation across projects.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals and customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, logistics, finance) to optimize supply chain processes.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to forecast demand, manage inventory, and mitigate supply chain risks.

  • Implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve supply chain performance.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Risk Analyst to continuously assess and improve risk management practices.

Data Management & Analytics

  • Leverage the skills of Data Analysts to harness data for decision-making, predictive analysis, and performance improvement.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all supply chain systems.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with terms.

  • Work closely with suppliers to improve lead times, quality, and cost.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting business needs.

  • Report on budget performance and implement cost-saving initiatives as needed.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • Master’s degree (MBA or similar) preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience managing large teams and complex supply chain operations.

  • Experience with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced analytics tools.

  • Demonstrated success in managing supply chain risk and driving process improvements.

  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead, inspire, and manage a large, diverse team.

  • Analytical Thinking: Expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and decision-making based on quantitative insights.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interfacing with all levels of the organization.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

  • Risk Management: In-depth understanding of supply chain risk factors and mitigation strategies.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in the use of supply chain management software and analytics tools.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to think long-term and align supply chain strategies with business goals.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable with change and able to manage in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in managing supply chain operations and data.

  • Collaboration: Strong collaborator with the ability to work across departments and with external partners.

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
