Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

Valeo Light is the world leader in automotive lighting. From the latest interior and exterior lighting innovations to cutting-edge wiping technologies, the Light division offers innovative visibility systems with a distinctive style, improving safety and driving comfort.

 

The site of Bietigheim-Bissingen based in Germany belongs to Light Division. We are looking for a VIE in Quality Project of 12 months (ideally 24) within the team.

Your challenges?

  • You ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards while supporting the Back Office for the project

  • You will work on the project lifecycle, monitoring milestones, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring adherence to internal and external standards regarding quality aspects

  • You will get involved in supporting the project team in quality matters and escalating critical roadblocks when necessary.

  • You will Detect risks and Prevent problems from Cradle to Grave

  • You will Prepare initial samples according to internal and external standards

  • You will Set and Monitor the Quality Roadmap for the project to reach the Quality (Customer and VALEO) and cost targets

Let’s talk about you…

  • You are graduated from a Master degree in Quality or in mechanical engineering/a related field like engineering economics

  • You already have experience in this field (ideally)

  • An advantage would be a basic knowledge of Quality Core tools e.g. process capabilities or statistics in general

  • You have a fluent level of English

  • You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

  • You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
