Senior Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes. In this senior-level position, you will apply advanced knowledge to audit, monitor, and evaluate manufacturing outputs against internal and regulatory standards. You’ll lead initiatives to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Audit and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance

  • Test random samples of finished goods for quality assurance

  • Report process deviations and defects in finished products

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Manage quality-related projects and process improvements

  • Coach and review work of junior professionals

  • Analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions

  • Drive adherence to regulatory and internal standards

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality control

  • Strong knowledge of auditing and regulatory compliance standards

  • Experience managing projects and mentoring team members

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards)
