Procurement Agent (Supplier Contract Admin)

The Contracts Procurement Agent plays a pivotal role in managing, integrating, and improving Boeing's supply chain. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, your responsibilities will focus on contract strategy, negotiation and supplier selection.  This role requires contracting knowledge, negotiating, and carrying out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators, and negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. In this role, you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
  •  Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Procurement and Supply Chain processes
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions
  • 3+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Procurement and Supply Chain processes
  • 3+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual agreements
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:

Level 2 $68,500-$80,000.

Level 3 $85,000-$99,000.
