About Team
This role is part of the Walmart Global Tech Product team with a specific focus on building products in the Facilities Management domain (One Reality) for Walmart Digital Facilities organization. Core Service – Retail Tech team is responsible for building and enhancing the next generation global Digital Facilities to further enhance our customer experience while reducing cost of maintenance. Walmart has significant opportunity to optimize our operations cost using advanced technology while enabling a rich customer experience and win with Walmart’s everyday low-cost philosophy. This role will help in accelerating our technician platform roadmap and working with the FM business team to drive and measure the impact of our platform related initiatives.
What you'll do:

You have worked with a variety of front-end frameworks and libraries and understand the pros and cons of them

You have extensive experience designing and implementing beautiful and elegant consumer front-end web applications (send us some examples)

You are curious, always tinkering with new technologies and frameworks

You have strong opinions and can communicate them well. You also hear all sides of a debate and adapt to new perspectives that emerge from it
What you'll bring:
8+ years of iOS/Android platform experience
Strong Javascript skills: experience with ES6+, state management (Redux, MobX, etc.), frameworks (React, Angular, PWA etc.)
Knowledge of HTML/CSS, experience with pre/post-processors (Sass, PostCSS, etc.), CSS-in-JS is a plus
Experience in analysing and optimising front end performance
Front-end tooling / build system experience (ex. Webpack, Grunt)
Module bundler / build system experience (Webpack, Gulp, Browserify, etc.)
Proficient in Swift/Kotlin
Thorough understanding of App development -- its core principles, software design patterns, and best practices
Deep understanding of various aspects of Mobile App Development
Testing(Unit, UI and E2E) best practices and patterns.
Experience in integrating with REST based backend services
Experience in working with large code bases and effectively driving large projects
Experience in mentoring engineers and influencing other engineers across the organization
Experience in CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge integrating 3rd party SDKs and APIs
Experience in caching, logging, performance tuning, and monitoring
Experience in App Profiling (concepts like Rendering performance, battery issues, thread count and memory dumps)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good problem-solving attitude and analytical skills
